Ingredients and substitutions

  • Unsweetened Coconut Milk: You can swap for any milk
  • Frozen Bananas: If you don’t have frozen fruit, you can use fresh fruit, but it wont be as thick. Add in a handful of ice cubes as well to the blender.
  • Frozen Strawberries
  • Honey

Storage

You can store this smoothie in the fridge for 1-2 days. It will likely become more runny when stored in the fridge.

Equipment needed

You will need a counter top blender for this recipe!

Variations and Add-Ins

  • Protein Powder: If you are looking to add protein to make you fuller for longer or make this smoothie a meal replacement then I would recommend a protein powder. A vanilla flavored one would pair well.
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds: They are a great source of fiber. If you struggle with constipation or want to aid in digestion this is great to add into the smoothie. They also absorb water and can help you feel fuller for longer.
  • 1/2 tbsp ground flax seed: Great source of fiber and omega-3 and 6 fatty acids
  • 1/2 cup of spinach: The taste is so mild and an easy way to add in nutritious veggies
