  • Write a encouraging note for your child’s backpack or lunch. If you homeschool, place it in their room for them to find.
  • Shopping for a new first day of school outfit.
  • Have a special after school snack. Something that they love that you typically don’t buy or make.
  • Set a goal for the upcoming year. You can do a short-term and a long-term goal.
  • In the evening, go out for ice cream, have a movie night, or a game night.
