This recipe mixes together simple ingredients, is refrigerated for a few hours, then results in a creamy, chocolatey pudding. The chia seeds soak in the milk and yogurt to create a creamy base. Chia seed pudding takes on the sweet chocolatey flavor of the maple syrup and cocoa powder. As the chia seeds soak in this pudding, they enlarge and soften.
I love eating this for a midmorning snack or I will enjoy it if I have chocolate cravings in the evening. You can grab any of your toppings – coconut flakes, mini chocolate chips, granola, or fruit to toss on the top. It is so versatile and such a lovely snack to enjoy.
