  • 2 cups (224 g) old-fashioned oats
  • 1 large (110 g) ripe banana
  • 1 cup (230 g) whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon (4 g) baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon (3 g) vanilla
  • ½ teaspoon (1 g) cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons (60 g) maple syrup optional for sweetness
  • ¼ teaspoon (1 g) salt
  • 2 tablespoons (28 g) melted butter and more for the skillet to cook pancakes in

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend until well combined, about 30 seconds.
  • Heat griddle or skillet to medium low heat. If using a griddle, I typically heat to 350 degrees.
  • Butter the surface. I like to take a stick of butter and rub it directly onto the skillet.
