Mayonnaise without Eggs
Use this eggless mayonnaise as a delicious condiment on sandwiches, wraps or included in dishes such as chicken salad, coleslaw or dips. I have been purchasing store bought eggless mayo for years, however realized you can easily make at home with less ingredients and for cheaper! Give this recipe a try and let me know your feedback. My son tried it on sourdough bread and when asked to describe it he said, “delicious!”
Ingredients in mayonnaise without eggs
Avocado oil: The mayo will take on the taste of the oil you use. Id recommend avocado or extra virgin olive oil. Please choose an oil you enjoy the flavor of!
Whole milk: You could also use 2%. If you are looking to make this recipe vegan, you can sub for a non dairy milk. I cannot personally vouch for any in particular as I have not tried, but if you do please let me know how it turns out!
Apple Cider Vinegar: Don’t skip this ingredient! It is what thickens the mayo. You can also sub and use fresh lemon juice
Honey Dijon Mustard: It adds some delicious tang and flavor. You can use plain Dijon mustard if you have that on hand.
Honey: Adds a bit of sweetness to the mayo
Sea salt

What I love about this recipe
When a food allergy diagnosis happens, it can make many foods “off-limits.” I am so grateful for simple ways to make food available for my whole family using simple and basic ingredients. This no egg mayo allows many foods to come back on the kitchen table and no more dry sandwiches!
How to store mayonnaise without eggs
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days (Mason jar, Tupperware, etc.)
