Ingredients
 

  • 1 chai spice tea bag
  • 4 ounces water
  • 4 ounces whole milk or creamy oat milk
  • 2 tablespoons 100% pumpkin puree
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or less based on desired level of sweetness
  • teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup ice *for the iced version

Instructions
 

For HOT Pumpkin Chai Tea Latte

  • In a small saucepan pour in water and milk.
  • Warm over medium heat until the liquids are steaming. Don't boil! Turn off heat, drop in the chai spice tea bag and let step with the lid on for 3-5 minutes.
  • Remove tea bag and pour in remaining ingredients.
  • Whisk together and pour into your favorite mug.
  • Enjoy every sip!

For ICED Pumpkin Chai Tea Latte

  • Over medium heat in a small saucepan, heat the water until steaming. Remove from heat, drop in chai spice tea bag, and steep 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Remove tea bag and pour in pumpkin purée, maple syrup, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Whisk together until combined.
  • Pour in cold milk and vanilla. Whisk together again.
  • Fill a large glass full of ice and pour the pumpkin chai mixture over ice.
  • Stir well and enjoy!

Notes

Use a good quality chai tea: This is the strongest flavor in this drink so pick a brand you enjoy!
Whisk thoroughly: Make sure to whisk the pumpkin purée well into the liquid to prevent any grainy texture.
