Blanching the green beans: In a large pot, bring water to a boil and then drop in green beans
Boil for 3 to 4 minutes until the green beans are a bright green color and tender
In a colander in the sink, drain the green beans and then run cold water over the beans. This allows them to cool down, stop cooking and still have that beautiful bright green color.
Toss in the seasonings: Return the green beans to the pot and add in olive oil, garlic salt, and lemon juice
Stir to mix in and serve immediately!
