Chocolate pretzel Christmas trees are a fun and festive no bake treat. All you need are pretzel sticks, almond bark, and sprinkles. Serve these pretzel Christmas trees at your next Christmas party!
6large pretzel rodsbroken in half to form 12 half pretzel rods
2tablespoonsChristmas sprinkles
Instructions
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Take 6 pretzel rods and break in half.
Lay out the 12 pretzels rods on the baking sheet.
In a microwave safe bowl, melt the almond bark in the microwave. Melt according to package instructions (typically it takes 1 minute to melt).
Once melted, pour the almond bark into a ziplock bag and clip a small corner off the bag.
Start drizzling the chocolate just above the top of the pretzel to form the "point" on the Christmas tree. Drizzle over the pretzel sticks in a back and forth motion, getting larger as you move towards the bottom.
Be sure to stop with enough pretzel stick to be the "trunk" at the bottom.
Before the almond bark dries, sprinkle on the sprinkles.
Allow them to dry and then transfer them to a serving platter.
Notes
Use the broken end of the pretzel rod as the top of the tree. This way the broken end is covered by the melted chocolate. If you have any star sprinkles you can place one at the top of the tree. You can make these with mini pretzel sticks. It just depends on the size of the "Christmas tree" you are wanting.
